Standard inks:Standard plastisol ink without any thinning or anything. PMS color matching is no problem at all. A little thicker and has a bit of a rougher texture. This is the standard method of screen printing.
Thin inks:Standard plastisol ink that we thin down to make it softer and/ or a vintage look. The colors are less opaque and, on very dark garments, specific PMS matching is difficult. No additional charges for this process. Most of the time we do not have a print a base, however there are a few times where a thinned base will also be needed.
Air Dry Inks:This ink is not heat cured. This ink has to dry at normal air temperature, not through our dryer. This is used for special materials only and is not used on shirts. We only offer this in limited colors please inquire if the color you want is available. Please allow extra time for this process. This process does incur additional costs.
Screen Print Transfers:Transfers are like screen print “stickers” that we put on garments. We print the design, using traditional screen print inks, and then heat press that transfer onto the garment. This is how we screen print on hats and other tote bags that are tricky. On traditional garments, this application allows for an extremely smooth and soft application. This process does incur additional costs.
Glitter & Chrome inks:Glitter & Chrome inks are available in select colors. These inks are only available using the standard inks process, however they can be used in designs that have several other colors. The glitter will not wash out in the laundry and the ink is smooth to the touch. The chrome inks will remain shinny after laundering. This is an excellent way to add a little style to an existing design. These ink options will incur additional costs.
Florescent/ Neon inks:Florescent/ Neon inks are available in select colors. These inks are only available using the standard inks process, however they can be used in designs that have several other colors. The neon color will remain vibrant even after washing. This is an excellent way to add a little style to an existing design. These ink options will incur additional costs.
Foil:Foil is a process in which we apply actual foil flake onto garments. Foil can only be used in conjunction with water base inks. This limits the number of color combinations that are available, however this gives a unique and one of a kind look. This process will incur additional costs.
Gel Inks:Gel inks are traditional inks that are clear or a tinted clear. This can be utilized to make the shirt color (or other ink colors that are in your design) a darker tone/shade. This is an easy way to make your design look like many more colors than what were actually printed, without incurring additional cost.
4 Color Process:4 Color process is a technique in printing in which the design is printed in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black). These 4 colors are used to generate every color in the rainbow. This process, in order to make a consistent production, is only available on white garments.
Simulated Process:Simulated process is a technique for printing garment in which the design is printed using a maximum of 8 colors to achieve life like images on light or dark garments. This allows you to have a very soft and light weight feel to the garment and also have a vibrant photographic image. There is a 48 piece minimum for this technique.
Heat-seal Names and NumbersHeat-seal is a method of personalizing garments with custom names and team numbers without incurring the large cost of additional screens and set up charges. We have several colors and fonts available from which to choose. You can order as few as 1 piece with this service and not be charged any additional costs.
Direct Embroidery:We specialize in direct embroidery on garments. Whether you are looking for your logo to be stitched on a jacket, towel or hat, we can help you with that. The largest design we are able to embroider is 9.5 inches x 9.5 inches. We are able to stitch up to 15 colors in one design. We have an embroidery artist/ digitizer in house which allows you to work directly with the designer to make your logo/design perfect. We also have several stock fonts available that will save you costs in the initial set up charges.
Applique:Applique is a technique where we stitch fabric cutouts of your design/text and stitch them directly to your garment. We have several styles available from distressed to crisp clean edges. Applique can only be stitched on thicker, more rigid garments (i.e. sweatshirts) due to the weight of the material being applied and the number of stitches required to apply it. There is a 48 piece minimum for this process.
